Raw and Real Conversation
Hey Friends,
Hope you all are taking some sort of a break before we ring in the New Year.
If there is something the years of grind had taught me, it is this:
The more you pause to refuel and recharge, the better your productivity and creativity gets.
This is almost surprising, but you need to experience this in order to validate the statement :))
On that note, since this is the last edition of our 2024, a lot of you might be on to planning your goals or habits for 2025. As you do, here are three background pillars that might help you do all of those better:
Before you focus on goals or habits, focus on what you will focus on:
What this means is, the areas that you focus on are the areas that your goals or habits will help you tremendously. You want to be fit, not just “workout daily” without any results. You want to be more thoughtful and wise, not just “read daily” because everyone asks you to.
Workout, reading = goals
Getting fit, getting wiser = direction
Set your direction straight. Get your focus in place. It will make you enjoy the process of achieving your goals.Instead of focusing on addition, focus on subtraction.
Success is not “more”. Success is “less”. Everyone takes their sweet time to understand this, so will you. That’s okay.
For example, if you want to grow your audience, don’t think of growing on LinkedIn, Bluesky, Instagram, newsletter, X—everywhere. Instead, pick 1-2 places that best suit you, and work like a master over those places. If you want change to truly last, start small.
If you have never worked out before, start with 5-10 minutes of workout daily, not an hour.
If you have never read before, start with reading one page a day, instead of 30 pages a day.
Be gentle with yourself, and change will gently follow you.
That is it, my friend.
I hope you get everything you want in 2025, and more.
Wish you an abundant New Year :)
Stay raw, stay real
