Here we go:
1 Thing of the week: Life advice from a 25 yo+
Someone on Twitter asked this question:
If you are 25+, can you share one thing that I should start doing ASAP if I don’t want to regret later in life?
I am 32. And that’s why, I’ll share 7 things (32-25, you see) :)
Try spending at least one weekend a month by yourself
Which means not going to party, movie or friends. Just your company. You will get to love yourself a bit more.Almost everyone will leave you, especially the ones whom you were sure they won’t leave.
This is not a negativity, it is awareness that people sometimes grow apart without having conversations. The quicker you accept that, the happier the rest of your life will be.Why you should embrace fitness:
Fitness isn’t for a shape of body. It is for a shape of mind. And what you think of yourself. The person who looks back at you when you look into the mirror, are you proud of them?Find solace in the company of books and nature
They contain all the answers. All of them.Your physical space is your life.
The physical space you live, study and sleep is going to determine 95% of your actions and mood. It need not be expensive and designed by Gauri Khan, it may be simple, clean and positive, and that does the trick. The skincare remedy is sleep by 9.
No wonder why kids are jumping whole day and shining their entire childhoods :)The only person who sees you all day and your entire life is you. Make sure you don’t lose their respect.
2 one-liners on life
The most beautiful thing about living a good life is you do not have to prove it to anyone else.
The things that get celebrated are the things that get multiplied.
3 gratitudes:
My first ever course had 54 students (okay 53, I was the first one) join in for the first (and only cohort). The first day only 3 people signed up. I told myself: If less than 10 people sign up by the last day, I would cancel the cohort. Glad it didn’t happen :) So far the response has been amazing. PS: If you wish to sign up for the self-paced course, you may sign up here.
Peanuts.
The real peanuts. They make you so full that you stop craving for anything else, least of all desserts.Cleaning my home.
It gives so much peace and clarity, that I think once a while everyone should clean a part of their home by themselves, instead of house help :)
That is all for this weekend, guys!
